A PRAYER FOR DIVINE SCRUTINY 2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A PRAYER FOR DIVINE SCRUTINY. (Part 2) God knows everything anyway, you might as well acknowledge that and respond appropriately. [Psalms 139:1-4] “O Lord, You have SEARCHED me and KNOWN me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You UNDERSTAND MY THOUGHT afar off. You COMPREHEND and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.” Yes he does! He knows it altogether. He knows you better than you know yourself…and one day we will be confronted with HIS ASSESSMENT of our lives. We should all be preparing for that now and of course having a repentant heart is the key. Can you be corrected? Can you listen for the voice, God’s voice that is trying to adjust our hearts along the way? Are you teachable? These are the attributes that will see you through. We all have to deal with our pride, humble ourselves and allow each day to be a day of DIVINE SCRUTINY…THAT SHOULD BE OUR PRAYER.
