THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: AFRICA AWAITS…WE HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO. The continent of Africa is made up of 54 countries with a total population of 1.2 billion people. The largest cities in Africa; Lagos, Nigeria 21 million; Cairo, Egypt 20.4 million; Kinshasa, Congo 13.3 million; Luanda, Angola 6.5 million. I could go on but it means that the task of ‘GOING INTO ALL THE WORLD’ IS DAUNTING. Many of the largest cities in Africa don’t have one fellowship church and over half the countries on the continent have no churches. We, of course are working on it but it remains an almost incomprehensible task. Let’s be reminded WE MUST DO AS MUCH AS WE CAN AS SOON AS WE CAN. Our church in Accra, Ghana is thriving. Young people are catching the vision and several couples and young men want to preach. Ultimately, Africa must become their burden and vision but there is a continued need to send missionaries who will blaze the trail for future revival. [John 4:35] “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” Let’s all be committed to pray for Africa, she is crying out for labors and the field is white unto harvest. AFRICA AWAITS…WE HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO.
