THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: WHAT AM I THINKING RIGHT NOW, AT THIS MOMENT? Maintaining a healthy, disciplined and strategic thought life is one of the most important things you will do in your life. It is our greatest challenge. Our mind and thoughts are the target of hell. This is the battle ground where we all fight and where WE MUST WIN. In the last hour, previous to reading this…HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR THOUGHTS? We’re they edifying, productive, wholesome and healthy? Were they positive and victorious? Or, negative, unbelieving, critical and unhealthy. What did you feed in your thought life over the last hour. Did you spend any time feeding anger, offense and un-forgiveness? Did you spend any time feeding lust or some other unclean, sinful imagination? How much in the last hour was your mind on the things of God and thoughts that reflect His love, His truth and His presence? Evaluate the last hour of your thought life and that will tell you a lot about what’s going on up there in your mind and why you struggle…or…why your able to maintain victory and peace in your life. It’s all up there in your head. YOU CONTROL WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT…SO START CONTROLLING! A healthy thought life and God’s peace go together. [Philippians 4:8-9] “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—THINK ON THESE THINGS. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.” Your will controls what you think about so begin now the exercise of a more disciplined thought life. WHAT AM I THINKING RIGHT NOW, AT THIS MOMENT? That matters, perhaps more than you realize.
